BLue 2054

IBlue 2054 looks at open relationships in a speculative future, using a simple yet thought-provoking narrative. Inspired by the blue tones of Derek Jarman’s 1993 experimental film, the video blends soft, flowing visuals with mechanical precision. Three robotic hands repeatedly touch and pull away, showing the uncertainty and changeability of relationships. A thin fabric moves between the hands, shifting over time, acting as a fragile link between cold machines and gentle softness. This interaction creates an emotional “magnetic field” that affects the virtual space around it. Using 3D animation and detailed visuals, Blue 2054 reflects on the delicate balance of human connections in a technology-driven world.
